Katy Tur

 

Katherine Bear Tur, born on the 26th of October, 1983 in America, is a broadcast journalist and writer who is a correspondent at NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports which, since 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports on MSNBC. She also contributes to NBC News channels Early Today, Today and NBC Nightly News.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tur is the daughter and granddaughter of journalists Zoey Tur, and Marika Gerrard. She attended Brentwood School (2001), and then from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2005) with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. She is Jewish.
